About the APGC's
The Australian Police Golf Championships (APGC) is a prestigious annual tournament that brings together serving and retired police personnel from across Australia in a spirit of competition, camaraderie, and community. Established in 1957, the championships have become a proud tradition, rotating each year between host states and territories and showcasing some of the country's finest golf courses.
The event features both individual and team competitions, with players competing across multiple rounds in handicap-based divisions. Beyond the fairways, the APGC fosters strong connections within the policing community through a program of social events, including opening ceremonies and presentation functions.
More than just a sporting competition, the APGC promotes health, wellbeing, and lifelong friendships among participants, reflecting the values of teamwork, respect, and excellence that define Australia's policing community.
